Acupressure Mat Description


How big is the average Acupressure Shakti Mat™?        
The Shakti Mat™ measures  16” x 27” and has a 1” foam pad. It is about the size of a regular bath towel or pillow case.

What kind of material are acupressure mats made of?
The slip cover is made of organic Indian cotton, the spike ‘flowers’ are made of non-toxic ABS plastic and the pad is foam rubber. Other acupressure mats such as pranamat eco have linen cover, biodegradable plastic spikes and coconut fiber stuffing which is also biodegradable. Pranamat Eco is made of superior materials however is very expensive and is not as effective as the lower priced Shakti Mat.

Can I remove the foam pad OR coconut stuffing from the acupressure Mat™?
Yes, the pad is optional and can be removed for easy storage or travel. Some people like it better without the foam pad because it conforms better to their body.
